Founded in 1997 as Atelier de la Photo, and renamed Maison de la Photographie in 2003, this Lille-based organization supports contemporary photographic expression, fostering dialogue between the international scene, regional artists, and amateur practitioners. Located at the entrance to the Fives district, it develops projects that are attentive to the cultural, social, and aesthetic dimensions of the image.

For its 2026 edition, it presents the work of Italian artist Allison Lisi with the series 7 × 7 = 49, an installation of forty-nine images arranged in a grid where repetition and variation structure the viewer’s gaze.

This exhibition embodies the mission of Maison de la Photographie: to support strong, sensitive, and well-structured artistic approaches that challenge our way of seeing.
