The gallery was created in 1992 in the small village of Le Castellet in the south east of France by Victor Fitoussi. First of all , Victor Fitoussi majored in Modern Art with Claude Venard, Théo Tobiasse, Robert Combas, Karel Appel, Bernard Buffet or Vladimir Velickovic.
In 2010, the gallery moved in the center of Aix en Provence and was joined by Maxime and Marie Fitoussi. Kriki, Valerio Adami , Robert Combas, Contemporary and Pop artists are in the artistic project of Saltiel’s gallery. Since then, Saltiel’s gallery is moving to the furtherance of movements like Narrative Figuration or Libre Figuration.
In May 2021, the gallery unveiled a new Parisian space rue du Faubourg Saint Honore in collaboration with the art dealer Kolo Traoré . Saltiel-KMG’s gallery is the spot where coexisting central figures of contemporary art with new emerging talents.
