Samuel Francart is a French multimedia artist living and working between Lille (France) and
Athens (Greece). At the crossroads of contemporary art and arts and crafts, his work is firmly
rooted in Fiber Art.
Enriched by studies in theater, art history, and fine arts at the École Supérieure d’Art de
Tourcoing in France and then at the Athens School of Fine Arts in Greece, Samuel has developed
an artistic practice that blends the techniques of cutting and collage, engraving and printing, and
oil painting.
