Franca Ravet (born in Arlon, Belgium)
After a training in artistic humanities in Izel, she graduated in visual arts at the Saint-Luc art school in Liège.
The artist becomes quickly mature in her work, and develops her own creativity. Franca Ravet’s works lie at the crossroads between abstraction and free figuration. It attaches itself to humans and their imprint, their feelings, their sensations. Transparency is of the greatest importance in her work: it testifies to the artist’s choices to erase or leave traces of her creative process.
Franca Ravet’s works of finesse and philo- sophical reflection have been exhibited in galleries since 1990.
After conquering Europe and in particular her native country, Belgium, France, Luxem- bourg and Portugal, she also exhibited in China. The artist has received awards for her work and her artworks are part of private and public collections.
