Benoît Averly lives and works in Burgundy. He grew up surrounded by pieces of wood. At the age of 22, he began woodturning. A short training course and several trips allowed him to become a professional and quickly be recognized in his specialty.

After a few years, his exploration of wood naturally extended to sculpture. Self-taught and instinctive, Benoît Averly creates works with strong contrasts in a refined style, playing with light, lines and textures.
