Alphée attempts to embody with sensitivity and strength an abstract, moving and intangible emotion, triggered by his environment.

Nature, which she finds beautiful and soothing, inspires her greatly. It is also a pretext to speak, in mirroring, of human nature, fragile and ephemeral: the vulnerability of beings and things particularly touches her.
The emotion that the artist feels in the face of the world fuels her art, which she sees as a time to stop and appreciate its beauty. Alphée evokes in particular the emotions felt in the face of events which disrupt our planet: climate change, covid, war… which are, according to her, a reflection of human nature. The artist evokes serious facts, others lighter, like a diary in which she shares her thoughts.
It is around this questioning that his creative process revolves. She begins each painting with a theme in mind, and loud music to instill good vibes.
The techniques she uses are always the same, and have been since her first works. The artist begins spontaneously with the collage of unique, handmade papers from various sources, then applies acrylic or sometimes oil paint. To do this, she often identifies a large area on the canvas where she wants to add texture. The choice of paper and paint colors is made according to the theme addressed. The oil stick then arrives with a sharp color to wake up the canvas. Finally, come the instinctive applications of pencil, posca, dry or oil pastel, charcoal, red chalk, etc.
To finalize the canvas, Alphée repeats, goes over and “sculpts” until the desired harmony is obtained.
