The mhaata gallery, present from March 2017 to July 2024 in Brussels at 37 and 39 rue des Capucins, is now located in Paris at 104 boulevard Arago, in the fourteenth arrondissement. It will operate outside the walls by participating in art fairs, as well as in places that it will occupy during the exhibitions of its artists. Furthermore, it continues to offer online consultation of the works of its artists and its collection.
The gallery’s program is to present works of art testifying to the evolution of our societies at different times (past and present) and in different parts of the globe under the effect of industrial revolutions, scientific advances and this in all its possible forms (painting, drawing, engraving, sculpture, photography, digital art, book and object).
The gallery supports contemporary artists over the long term, for whom it periodically organizes personal exhibitions (in principle every two years). Between two exhibitions, it also intends to present the works of these artists to institutions, collectors and art lovers outside its walls.
The gallery’s collection, which can be found in the catalogue, is constantly renewed by the contribution of works which can in certain cases be the subject of thematic exhibitions.
The gallery intends to cooperate with institutional and associative partners during cultural events through the participation of its artists. It also wishes to develop a relationship with companies to promote their industrial heritage.
