Founded by Arthur Bessaud, Galerie Bessaud is a contemporary art gallery that aims to be eclectic, open, and educational, located next to Place de la Bastille, at 24bis rue de Charenton, Paris.
The gallery showcases many emerging artists from France and around the world through exhibitions that emphasize a variety of media (painting, ceramics, crafts, and multimedia), diversity and inclusivity in curation (gender parity among the artists exhibited, audio guides for the visually impaired, etc.), as well as education (production of numerous explanatory materials: booklets, video documentaries, etc.).
Its aim is to enable collectors and art enthusiasts to continually make new discoveries, both of young emerging French artists and more established international artists, all within surprising and positive exhibitions.
