Located in the heart of the Auvergne Rhones Alpes region, the Bertheas gallery was created in 1989 in Saint Etienne. Then in 2000, it opens its Vichy gallery, with more tha, 800m2, as well as the one of Paris in 2012. For more than 40 years, it defends the “Ecole de Paris” painters and the abstract painting of the 60’s and 70’s. It’s just a bit later it develops its editorial line with artworks from de the “figuration” and the ‘Ecole de Nice”. In addition to its participation to many contemporary artfairs such as ArtParis Artfair, Art Elysées, Moderne Artfair, Lille Art Up, Art Montpellier, etc. It organizes exhibitions and retrospectives in its differents spaces.
In 2017 the gallery invests the Marais neighborhood, place both historical and trendy in the capital, and in the keeping with its growing, open in 2019, a new exhibition et logistical space, of more than 2000m2 in Saint Etienne. It straightens in this way its regional attach ans its international standing.
Far-reaching projects are actually in preparation for 2023 and 2024.
