A multidisciplinary artist at the crossroads of street art and calligraphy, Woo (Wooghost) is based in Bordeaux (France), where he regularly exhibits his work.

The brutality of graffiti, the gentleness of calligraphy, the Cyrillic alphabet or hieroglyphics… Wooghost plays with symbols, without always being symbolic. He expresses himself on canvas, tarpaulin or glass. Large or small formats, according to his whims. Woo’s art is instinctive. However, some of his recent canvases deal with contemporary societal themes that the eye can identify by the symbol.
