Roch Vandromme, born in 1953 in Rosendael (Nord), lives and works in Dunkirk. He studied architecture at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris and devoted his career to animal sculpture and engraving. He frequents the studio of the sculptor Charles Gadenne. He visits farms and animal parks to observe the animals and then draws them in their familiar attitudes. He models them in his studio in Dunkirk.
