Grégory Valentin lives and works in the Lille metropolitan area.
Trained as an architect and graphic designer, Grégory creates works of art based on the full text of literary masterpieces, playing with spaces, fonts and letters to restore intense emotion and perfect aesthetics.
Grégory Valentin presents a meticulous work of composition in which he will discipline, contain and format texts to recreate the entirety of a book in artistic form. The end result is a restful, aesthetic abstract work that brings to life the literary works from which it draws its inspiration.
In previous editions of Art-Up, we presented the artist’s paintings. For this 2025 edition, we’ll be presenting Gregory’s epoxy steel poem-sculptures. A magnificent setting in volume and space of masterpieces of French poetry.
