Born in 1975, Valem discovered sculpture thanks to her student job as an art model. She holds a degree in engineering since 1999 but she never stopped sculpting. Clay modelling fascinates her, she works with various techniques and the finishing stage always perfectly fits the subject she is working on. Coming from a rapid encounter, a piece of intimacy or an inner journey, her animals are always imbued with her own emotions.

Even though drawings and later on sculptures have always been part of her life for years, Valem really started her career as a sculptor in 2016, when she chose to work exclusively with our art gallery. Since then, she participates in various art fairs and exhibitions in different cities: Lille, Bergerac, Rennes, Paris, Lyon, Luxembourg, Montpellier …
