France

Marc Trabys, born in 1952, is a French painter from the Pyrénées-Orientales region. Based in Saint-Cyprien, he has been exhibiting since 1980 in France and internationally—from Paris to Hong Kong, Dakar to Washington. His career, nourished by European, African, and Asian influences, led him to explore abstraction and then return to it after a detour into figurative art.

Fundamental colors, eruptions, and the tears of the world mingle in his canvases, creating a visual language that invites reflection. He conceives his paintings as interior landscapes, where emotion, memory, and humanity meet.
