Marco Stefanucci lives and works in Rome, where he was born in 1970. He holds degrees in graphic design and art history from La Sapienza University, and initially worked as a graphic designer in publishing and television, before devoting himself to the study of painting techniques and historiographical research.

His career has also been nourished by an intense practice of artistic photography, particularly in the darkroom, where the use of acids and dyes has influenced his pictorial approach.

In his work, the artist constantly evokes the past: expressive bodies evolve in ancient architecture and dreamlike atmospheres, evoking classical mythology.

Through these scenes, he explores the relationship between the human and the divine, inscribing his narratives in a dialogue between memory and actuality. Vegetated ruins and mythological motifs meet in a poetic visual fresco, where past and present merge with strength and subtlety.
