From the voluble slammer to the schoolboy who never had enough paper for writing, to the teenager who locked notebooks in words of love and despair, to the adult who signed up for a little star who had just been born, Skizofan.
Skizofan is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist.
He discovered art late. It was not until 2009 that he started slamming; an activity which was at that time completely unknown to him. Following his deschooling, he learns on his own, to articulate words and formulate sentences. He takes more and more pleasure in it. The discovery of this talent is surprising and euphoric at the same time. Fanio participated in the first Mauritius National Grand Slam in 2011 and won second place in the team and individual competition. He also took first and second place in the Les Lignes d’Or National Poetry Competition.
