Jean-Baptiste Sécheret studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1976) and was a resident at the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid (1984-1986). He taught at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville, and now lives and works in Paris. He also devotes much of his time to printmaking.
He is currently (November-January 2026) exhibiting a number of paintings at the Musée Marmottant.
