After studying advertising at St-Luc in Brussels,
Sarah Bourlard, an art education teacher, went on to study at the Ecole des Arts de Braine-l’Alleud, where she qualified as a ceramist and sculptor.
Her sculptures are distinguished by the incisive, expressive way she works the raw material of wood with a chainsaw.

Using this technique, the material speaks and becomes energy.
The bite of the blade is immediate and the volume appears. The blow is struck and there’s no turning back!
