Bernard Rebaudet was born in 1949. He developed a passion for modelling as a child, and as a teenager in Lyon, he took classes at the Beaux-Arts academy, then assiduously attended the volume workshop and sculpture classes at the architecture school throughout his training, before obtaining his architect’s diploma in 1974. He continued to evolve in Jean-Paul Domergue’s studio as he began his life as a builder, and throughout his career he would continue to maintain the symmetry between these two intertwined professions, sculptor and architect. He has taken part in numerous biennials, won prizes, exhibited in galleries and is now continuing his general work, a highly accomplished body of work that forms a composition of sculptures of great accuracy.
