Céline Ranger was born in 1972 in Touraine. She currently lives and works in the Nantes region.

After a childhood and adolescence that revealed her passion for drawing, sculpture and painting, she left for Paris to pursue higher studies in applied arts at the Boulle school and then at the Estienne school.

Painting, like a faithful friend, will always be there to accompany her to the point that she will end up, in response to a visceral need, by devoting herself totally to her art. The artist searches, she digs, like an archaeologist, she questions through portraits the infinite facets of the female soul. It reveals the ineffable, wanders on the thread of the intimate, plays with its ramifications, its depths, its paradoxes….

Her delicate and sensitive painting lines an intimate mirror with finesse, vaporous glazes and subtle plays of matter.
