Born at the crossroads of Catalan and Italian ancestors, Elia Pagliarino shared her childhood with the disabled residents of the establishment where her parents worked.
It is certainly from this environment, where the irrational easily invites the imagination, that the foundation of her reflections on appearances, the notions of norms and identity and the function of bodies was built.
