Patrick NUPERT paints a different poetic reality than the one towards which human hands instinctively reach.

For the artist, beauty emerges from an intuitive force, inherently intelligent in its essence, expressing itself through a disorganized chaos of matter and life. His work seeks to unite, in a pictorial oxymoron, what human logic tends to oppose: beauty and disorder, life and accident, the anecdotal and the essential.

Bringing together the seemingly irreconcilable to express Beauty, he observes life in its most mysterious and perfect form, where the question of identity is an interrogation of the past in relation to a future yet to be shaped. In his work, Matter, the Unfinished, the Cry, the Surprise, and Life exist only to confront and then observe one another in a shared acceptance. It is in this dialogue that painting becomes a privileged moment.

Within this interwoven realm of emotions and states, the artist expresses his faith in Life and its abundance of surprises and profusion. Rooted in a relentless pursuit of the truest possible introspective expression, his pictorial creation becomes an initiatory quest, where each stroke and each word becomes its very breath.
