Born in 1951 in Jaén, Andalusia, Spain.
Multidisciplinary artist: painting, engraving, sculpture, digital image, scenography, objects and installations.
He lived in Jaén, Valladolid, Vigo, Cádiz, Madrid, Paris, Tunis, Torrején de Velasco
(Madrid) and Naja {Cantabria). He traveled through America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Of heterodox training, he studied at the Civil Navy School of Cádiz, at the Cfrculo Bellas Artes in Madrid, at the School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid, at the University of Vincennes, at the Faculty of Fine Arts , at the Sorbonne School of Advanced Studies in Paris, at the IFICT in Lisbon, at the Laboratorio delle Arti Scheniche di Chieti (Kaleidoscope program) and at the UNED (National University of Distance Education).
Since 1975, the date of his first exhibition (Tunis, Centra C. Espaf\ol), he has exhibited his works in countries all over the world, more than 300 of them. Between 1982 and 2001 he worked as a teacher for the PMC of Méstoles, Madrid, the Ministry of Education (P. Expertes de FP y CPR) (E.P.A. Educ. Permanente de Adultes), Escuela de Animacién de la Comunidad de Madrid , and the Junta de Castilla y Lean.
He managed the creation of artist workspaces and exhibition spaces. He is currently the director and coordinator of the International Symposium of Artists of Naja, SIANOJA, which he has led continuously for 23 years with extensive international experience, currently supporting the management by the Association of Friends of SIANOJA. He is also artistic director of the contemporary art gallery Espiral, in Naja, Cantabria, which has been a rural cultural landmark since 2006.
