Originally from Ghana, AYI MENSAH is a self-taught visual artist who lives and works in Accra-Ghana. Born in 1986.

Painted mainly with acrylic paint on canvas.

Ayi uses photographs of everyday people as her source material and infuses her intuition, self-perception and imagination into the construction of her paintings.

He actively mixes figurative and abstract strategies in his works, resulting in the creation of strange figures, shapes and compositions.
This has been his signature style.
