Masaya is a French artist born in 1960. Born into a family of artists, it was only natural that his creative path should take him. He began by studying fashion design and drawing. His profession led him to travel the world, enabling him to discover different metropolises and atmospheres, and to collect a wealth of visual material that he used to express his art.
He combines classical painting with state-of-the-art printing techniques to create magical, colorful worlds. He mixes acrylic paints, resins with metallic and iridescent effects, photographs and graphic creations.
His Neo-Pop Art interpretation of cities plays on the mix of contemporary cities and symbols of society from the 60s to the present day. Working with transparencies, relief effects, knife strokes, metallic particles, glass and mirrors, Masaya’s paintings are unique creations.
