Marianne Goffard is a Belgian artist born in Brussels in 1971. An art historian graduated from ULB, she first worked in galleries and art insurance before fully dedicating herself to painting. Mother of four, she discovered her passion for creation ten years ago, following her mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Since then, she has developed a pictorial universe made of round shapes and fluid inks, which she calls “controlled randomness.” Poetic and timeless, her works form an archipelago of imaginary landscapes — fragments of memory inviting the viewer to dream and contemplate.
