The accuracy of the gesture in the disproportion of the model
Two favourite subjects: women and animals. All of Sylvie Mangaud’s sculptures are stylized while maintaining the accuracy of the movement! The artist also strives to use voids to create geometric shapes. His talent: a fluidity that seduces all generations.

A world of finesse, strong and fragile at the same time.
Zen, Cool, Free, Venus, Harmony… So many names given by Sylvie Mangaud to her bronzes with their slender shapes that we adopt at first glance.

Nudes and animals immediately became his source of inspiration. His creations are all about lightness, finesse and elegance. The purity of their lines expresses an authentic aesthetic balance. Some are about to leap, others to dive, some run towards love, others are content to walk with simplicity and verticality. They are strong and fragile at the same time.

But Sylvie Mangaud’s sculptures are also a deliberate disproportion that makes the whole harmonious with legs that stretch to infinity, combining the length of the lines and the softness of the curves. The faces remain smooth, letting the bodies speak, delicately sensual but never immodest.

One thing is obvious: we can no longer envisage these silhouettes in any other way.
