Lucie Pastureau was born in 1982. She lives in Lille and works in Lille, Paris and elsewhere.
After studying communications at the Institut d’Arts Visuels d’Orléans, Lucie Pastureau went on to study photography at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Graduating with the congratulations of the Jury in 2008, she founded the Faux Amis collective that same year with her acolytes Lionel Pralus and Hortense Vinet.
Her work revolves around family imagery, the little things of the ordinary, with the intention of tracing an intimate cartography of a territory, a group or an individual. She is also developing her research on photography and text within the Faux Amis collective (with Hortense Vinet, Lionel Pralus), diversifying her media: video, installation, publishing.
Lucie Pastureau has been a member of studio hans lucas since 2012, co-opting Clara Chichin in 2013, Romain Leblanc in 2014, Olivier Seignette and Cécile Henryon in 2015.
