Jürgen LINGL was born in 1971 in Bavaria, Germany. He lives and works in France. He began an apprenticeship in wood carving with master Hans-Joachim Seitfudem at the age of 21. Two years later, honored with a mention for his graduation work, he decided to become an independent sculptor.

A complete artist, he also paints and engraves. Since the beginning of the 2000s, numerous prizes have come to promote his career as a sculptor.

With his chainsaw and his woodworking tools he knows how to exalt the spruce block, give it a soul, a look, a life. His work, overwhelming in power and emotion, is a must at the Platini Gallery and the Lille Art Up! for several years.
