Michèle Iznardo entered the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1980. Graduating in 1984, she participated that same year in group exhibitions at the school and the Galerie des Beaux-Arts. From 1985 to 1987, she continued her studies at the Académie Saint Roch, founded a few years earlier by Jean Bertholle.

Awarded a grant from the City of Paris in 1987, she received a scholarship to the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid, where she was a resident artist in 1988-1989. There, she discovered the landscapes of Andalusia and Castile. During her residency, she participated in several group exhibitions in Madrid, Valdepeñas, and Córdoba, and in 1990, she held her first solo exhibition in Almería.

Upon returning to France, Michèle Iznardo lives and works in Boulogne-Billancourt. From 1993 onwards, she participated in numerous group exhibitions in Paris, notably at the Institut de France and the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles, in Nîmes and Strasbourg, and in Valencia, Spain. Her works were also presented at several contemporary art fairs, including St’art in Strasbourg, Lille Artfair in Lille, and ArtFair Berliner in Germany.
