Invader is a French street artist, born in 1969, from the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris. For more than twenty years, the artist has been installing Space Invaders made of tiles or small mosaic tiles on the walls of major international metropolises, even in space.

His pseudonym and the aesthetics of his works are inspired by a 1978 video game called Space Invaders. To preserve his anonymity, the artist chose to appear masked during his interviews.

The laying of his works, which are usually carried out without prior agreement with the owner of the site, constitutes what he calls “invasion”.
