Graduate of Esä Dunkerque-Tourcoing, Julie Everaert bases her work on an approach that combines art and science. She is particularly interested in rhizomatic structures – algae, fungi, corals, plankton and plants – whose modes of organisation, proliferation and transformation become material for artistic experimentation. Through modelling, 3D printing, programming and soft robotics, Julie Everaert imagines new interactions between the living world and humans.
