Originally from the north of France, where she lives and works, Dom has taken several courses dedicated to the knowledge and practice of the arts, including ancient painting techniques, plastic arts and practical training in engraving. This multi-faceted education has left the artist with a pronounced taste for all areas of creativity.

In parallel with her painting activity, Dom will try her hand at sculpture, illustration and the creation of sets for object theater.

Since 2009, she has also been part of an association that brings together artists from a variety of fields to create multi-disciplinary shows for young audiences. She also shares her multiple passions with her students in the various courses she gives in her native region.

Dom’s work, based on milk casein, lime and acrylic paint and mixed techniques combined with a delicately chosen palette of tones, is imbued with great poetry. Sketched with great gentleness, her subjects are generally depicted in a state of serenity that might suggest a moment of bliss, well-being or simply a suspended moment that would belong to the world of dreams.

Mostly female, Dom’s figures are graceful and seem imbued with goodness. So that each viewer can identify with them and write their own story, the artist has deliberately left them devoid of eyes. Inhabited by music, theater and poetry, Dom’s pictorial work reflects the narrative intensity she draws from these three disciplines to enrich her canvases.
