Valentine’s work is characterized by colorful compositions that oscillate between figuration and abstraction. Her canvases host a nebula of signs without explicit meaning, representing only themselves, outside known codes, as vectors of atmosphere, sensations, and concepts – in their interstices, like at the epiphany of their fullness.
She uses a particular collage technique that brings a vibrant light to her compositions, reflecting a joy of life and evoking new emotions in the viewer.
