Landia Davies (°1979) is a South African sculptor who enjoys working with clay, which is then cast in bronze or resin. Her sculptures have the courage to be vulnerable and connect with our human emotions. They invite us to cherish naivety and appreciate playfulness in the midst of life’s complexity. Sex and gender don’t really matter. Her characters are intentionally naive.
