Belgian artist Dario Pilato, born in 1992, lives and works in Brussels, where he studied art at the ESA St Luc before embarking on his creative career. Since 2005, he has been experimenting and developing his talents. However, it was in January 2022 that he decided to break free by exhibiting his work to the public, resurrecting old toys and giving them a deeper meaning.

He creates organic, naïve and colorful compositions from thousands of figurines, which every child has come to know, notably through the little Kinder Surprise toys. In addition to taking viewers back to childhood and evoking a range of emotions, his work also addresses the social and economic issues of contemporary society.

A prizewinner in numerous competitions, where he has won first prize or been a finalist, his work is now available exclusively in the Metamorphose/Siennicka galleries.
