Order and chaos come together with rare skill in the three-dimensional works of German artist Hendrik Czakainski. At first sight abstract, his colourful compositions turn out to be very concrete when you approach them and discover the multitude of buildings that intertwine while pretending to remain neatly aligned. These are not cities to be lived in, but imaginary architectures, vestiges of the future where the human presence is represented by the lines and shapes of urban layouts as if seen from the sky.
