Robert Combas, born May 25, 1957 in Lyon, is a contemporary artist, painter, sculptor and illustrator. He is the initiator, with Hervé Di Rosa, of the artistic movement of free figuration.
Leader of this movement in Europe, he is now considered one of the most important contemporary French artists since the 1980s.
