Berit was born in Norway in 1964. She has lived in Ardèche for twenty years.

Berit studied anthropology. Then, during his meeting with his life companion, Louis Treserras, Berit tries clay. The artist has never taken a course, never learned anything other than by trial and error. Today, sculpture occupies all his life.

The work of this exceptional sculptor tells us the stories of little girls in the making, who breathe the freshness of this state of grace that is childhood. Innocent, his sculptures fascinate with their undeniable presence and tell us stories, as if they came straight out of a fairy tale.
