Pop Art has always fascinated, and has long since been adopted. Auguste, a 41-year-old artist from Bordeaux, is one of its exponents.
Through his pop artworks, mixing icons, superheroes, well-known brands and bright colors, the artist takes his audience back in time, to the very heart of his youth, his generation, as the name of the theme suggests. Styles and eras are combined, giving way to colorful, comprehensive works. Auguste creates and realizes his works using a variety of techniques, always with a view to mixing several elements together: acrylic paint, digital, automotive varnish and collage.
Now known the world over, the Bordeaux-born artist has graced the walls of Gael Monfils, Stanislas Wawrinka, Kim Kardashian, Leonardo Dicaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, among others. A dazzling and well-deserved reputation, proving that the French touch is as seductive as ever.
