Lise Gonthier, French sculptor born in 1981, is a glass artist recognized for her unique creations which combine poetry and technique.

Trained at the Beaux-Arts of Besançon and at the European Center for Research and Training in Glass Arts (CERFAV), she discovered her passion for glass in a French crystal factory. After several internships in France and abroad, she opened her workshop in the south of France, in Beaucaire.

Lise Gonthier’s work is based on impressive technical mastery and a constant search for new methods to express her ideas. By using glass as a pictorial medium, she reinvents the classic notions of painting and volume. His works are often composed of repetitive patterns and plays of lines and transparencies.

By combining contemporary aesthetics and ancestral techniques, Lise creates works that transcend the boundaries between sculpture and painting. His glass paintings, true poetic osmosis, captivate with their sensuality and their light, offering a unique and unforgettable experience.
