An impulse painter, Rose Madone works at will: “my accumulation works arise in a very spontaneous way. Hard blows, sorrows, joys or sadness… Through the canvas, I look for the exhaustion of an emotion.”

Repetitions, ascents and descents… she likes to invade space, to play with accumulation: “I also look for a certain purity of forms. I always have a sketchbook in my pocket, in which I accumulate figures, silhouettes, clear lines. Instinctively, certain shapes are revealed. To create series. Series which are ultimately transcribed in my paintings.”
