Rebecca was born on 1 February 1969 in Aix en Provence.
She is the daughter of writer Françoise Lefèvre and painter Raya Sorkine.
Her boundless curiosity for materials and colours, her need to go beyond her limits and her ability to question herself gradually led her towards lyrical abstract expressionism.
This move towards abstraction fulfilled all her expectations, and she felt liberated.
Rebecca, who was born a colourist, gave it her all.
