Marius Messinese is a figurative painter born in Marseille in 1987. After 10 years in fashion (specialized in patterns design), he decides in 2018 to devote himself fully to painting, creating in his works an environment halfway between seduction and intrigue. In archetypal visions of Florida or California, he introduces an ambiguous narrative, which addresses notions of silence, emptiness and absence.
In 2021, he starts a collaboration with Thomas Tournemine Gallery, which organizes the next year his first solo exhibition : “Paradise Lost”.
