Manager : Loup TRENTIN BOSQUET

It all began in 2007 for Loup Trentin-Bosquet, founder of the company CORPS ET AME GALLERY.
Armed with a Master’s degree in the Art Market (earned with honors in Montpellier) and a second Master’s in the Conservation, Management, and Dissemination of 20th-Century Artworks, he assembled a small team to conceive, create, and launch a multidisciplinary arts festival centered on the theme of the “Body.” He sought out artists specializing in painting, sculpture, photography, dance, performance art, and video to develop the project, subsequently securing partial funding from patrons and sponsors. He then moved to Nîmes to organize an exhibition program for the “20 Years of Nemausus” event, chaired by Pascal Fancony (Fine Arts professor) and Laurent Duport (architect). As project manager, he played a key role in securing official heritage status for the famous Jean Nouvel building—an experience that culminated in a personal interview with Nouvel himself on the day the designation was celebrated.
He went on to curate a more personal exhibition series under the banner “CORPS ET AME” (Body and Soul) within the building—now officially recognized as 20th-century architectural heritage—and garnered his first television interviews and press coverage.
Following a feature article about him in the *Midi-Libre* newspaper, he was approached by the management of “Les Halles,” who entrusted him with a vast 400-square-meter space to host an exhibition series. During this time, Loup Trentin-Bosquet expanded his network of artists and welcomed thousands of visitors to the venue—a residency that was extended month after month. Following this rewarding experience, he decided to open his first gallery, named CORPS & ÂME, in the heart of Rue Emile Jamais in Nîmes; it became the first art gallery on a street he helped transform into an “Art Street” for the people of Nîmes and the Gard region. He still welcomes visitors to this historic space today—a venue he has successfully evolved over time while preserving its original structure.
In 2019, he celebrated the gallery’s 10th anniversary, renaming it CORPS ET AME GALLERY © and registering the trademark. His second gallery opened in 2022, coinciding almost exactly with the birth of his second child.
Over the years, his reputation and the number of recommendations have continued to grow—extending well beyond Nîmes and the region to reach far beyond national borders.
