Yoann Bac (b. 1998, Saint-Germain-en-Laye) is a French artist living and working in Paris. He graduated from École Duperré in 2023 with jury honors. His practice explores the boundaries between artistic disciplines, combining painting, sculpture, and immersive devices inspired by the worlds of cinema and theatre. By questioning the traditional conventions of painting, his work reveals the artificial nature of the mechanisms that produce and animate images.
In October–November 2025, he presented his first solo exhibition, Membrane, at Alo Galerie, accompanied by the release of an eponymous artist’s book developed in collaboration with Nawa Works.
His work has been shown in various institutions and independent spaces, including the Bastille Design Center (AMMA Sorbonne Prize, 2024), DOC, Le Shakirail, Le Floréal Belleville, 3537.org in Paris, and Tour Orion in Montreuil. His research has also been featured in publications such as Temple Magazine, Beware Mag, NSS, and Artistik Rezo.
