Christine Deknuydt (1967 – 2000) was a French visual artist and illustrator who trained at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Dunkirk. She established herself as an important figure in the contemporary art scene in Dunkirk during the 1990s thanks to her drawings and hybrid works that combine shapes, texts and symbols, exploring their expressive and interpretative possibilities.
