FRANCE
Olivier Desvaux was born on May 12, 1982 in Rouen (France).
After a year studying applied arts at the École Estienne in Paris, Olivier entered the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, from which he graduated in 2006.
Olivier is a member of the Taylor Foundation.
He was appointed Peintre Officiel de la Marine (Official Painter of the French Navy) in 2018.
Commissions
In 2009, Olivier produced oil paintings commissioned by Jacques Garcia to decorate the Baldaquin Suite at La Mamounia in Marrakech.
In 2011, he was selected to propose a painted decor project for the apse, nave and arcades of the church of Sainte Marie Majeure (a listed historical monument) in Bonifacio.
As part of the French 1% artistique program, Olivier created a decoration for the Tréport media library in 2013, and in 2018 a decoration for the multi-care center of Grand-Couronne.
