After several years in men’s fashion as a creative director, in 2019 I felt a visceral need to return to manual work, to explore a more instinctive relationship with
materials and to reintegrate the long term. This return to basics led me to ceramics,
an art that combines gesture, experimentation, and a certain form of transmission.
It was in Sicily that I discovered the power of working with clay and the tradition
of the “Teste di Moro,” with their founding myth.
Fascinated by this sculptural approach, I opened my first studio in Paris in 2021, where I began to shape heads inspired by this heritage while bringing a more contemporary interpretation to it.
In 2022, I left Paris for La Roque-d’Anthéron, in Provence, a setting more conducive to my creative process.
