Bertille, a visual artist and painter born in Bordeaux in 1980, has been exploring spontaneous, minimalist art for over 15 years, where each gesture is inscribed with intensity and precision.
Inspired by Japanese sumi-e, she favors black and white, a radical choice that magnifies contrast and purity of line. Through this approach, she seeks to capture the moment, where gesture becomes language.
Whether with broad spalter strokes crossing the canvas with controlled energy, or dripping projections evoking controlled chaos, her works oscillate between structure and freedom, erasure and vital momentum.
His canvases recall both the fleeting visions of Baudelaire and the subjective interpretations of Rorschach tests.
